Responsive and caring.
Sometimes there was a lot of overwhelming information that could perhaps have been presented differently, but it was essential information so I'm not sure how else it could have been done.

Followed for nearly a year, I was always listened to by Hemamm Al-Kaillany, the Specialist ADHD Pharmacist. He did his utmost to find solutions and provide alternative medication whenever I needed it. My only wish is to be followed by Hemmam when I am referred back to this service again. Thank you.

Overall I felt listened to and supported and that he took the time to learn my specific circumstances and needs was willing to adjust things to meet that. I felt sometimes that advice on wider issues such as diet and sleep were very generic and didn’t take into account other disabilities or conditions that I had informed of, which felt a little frustrating. Likewise I did have to repeat aspects of my medical history. But I understand that they see multiple patients and can’t remember everything. However I felt that his knowledge of the medication specifically, the different options, the ways to could be adjusted, different ways to solve particular issues etc was excellent and I didn’t feel bringing problems was an issue.

Hemamm is a very professional pharmacist who listened to my worries and explained every step of the titration process clearly. All my questions were answered and alterations were made when I needed them, I felt at ease with his handling of my medication plan. Furthermore, he has always been kind and respectful of my opinion and took great care to make sure any side effects were addressed and mitigated. I would definitely recommend Psychiatry UK to others seeking care whether privately or through the Right To Choose NHS program. I would however caution that the process of diagnosis and titration is not quick and can take many weeks to find a medication and dosage that works for an individual. Hemamm was fantastic with tailoring the support I needed to me as an individual, taking into account my physical and mental health.

My name is Hemamm , I am a Pharmacist. I have a Master of Pharmacy MPHARM where I graduated in University of Portsmouth (come on Pompey!!) and did my post-graduate certificate in Prescribing in the beautiful University of Reading. I have worked across all healthcare settings including community, hospital, primary care, urgent care, health injustice, and remote. Currently, I work as an ADHD specialist pharmacist titrating patients remotely to ensure they feel their ADHD control is good. I also consult patients remotely at Babylon Health , which is a GP Service I thoroughly enjoy the new way of working of digital healthcare, as it gives access and convenience to patients. I have a special interest in Medical Cannabis and will be developing myself into this field of practice. I am an active gym member and have a passion for healthy living as well as forest and nature bathing. I love cooking and exploring new recipes and dishes.
